Habsent Minded Extra: Breaking down the Vasili Demchenko signing with KHL expert Gillian Kemmerer

The newest Montreal Canadien Vasili Demchenko had been carrying a poor, if not terrible, Traktor team in the KHL for the last couple of seasons. Discarding this last season where Traktor was even worse than before and Demchenko was traded to Metallurg Magnitogorsk, Demchenko had been the stand out performer for Traktor.

Looking deeper into the signing of Demchenko Habsent Minded is joined by Gillian Kemmerer, noted KHL expert and Russian hockey aficionado. Ms. Kemmerer explains the reasons why she thinks the signing of Vasili Demchenko is a good one for Montreal Canadiens, starting with his agility and strong mind.

With May 1 coming up, the discussion drifts to CSKA Moscow’s Alexander Romanov, and the other losses that CSKA will go though this offseason. Ms. Kemmerer once more explains her reasoning why Romanov will be a good fit in Montreal.
