Where will Alexander Romanov play next year? KHL expert Gillian Kemmerer answers the question that all Montreal Canadiens fans are asking themselves. She also gives her opinion on Romanov’s development and progress in the KHL. Having just returned from Moscow, Ms. Kemmerer has quotes from Ilya Sorokin (CSKA’s goalie) and Valeri Bragin (Russia’s U20 coach).

We discuss Romanov’s suitability to the North American game, and if CSKA will offer him a similar contract to what Kirill Kaprizov received when he signed with the Moscow club, as it seems clear that Kaprizov will move to North America next season.

As I am a fan of Russian hockey, we also speak about one of the best players in the world that never played in the NHL, Sergey Mozyakin, who just scored his 400th KHL goal on Friday night.

Ms. Kemmerer also gives Canadiens fans an insight to Russian culture and hockey in general. You can follow her on Twitter, @gilliankemmerer, for more information about everyone’s favourite Russian prospect, but also all hockey in general.
