Habs news at practice: Pateryn out, Redmond in
There was no news on a possible forward lineup, but there was some action among the defenders
There are most likely new lines on the horizon for the Canadiens, and it comes out of necessity. Not only did they lose their best forward, they also immediately lost his replacement. Which means that Michel Therrien’s hand is forced, and he has to get creative with his lineup.
First off, in an almost comedic scenario, the Canadiens may have lost another centerman, albeit short term. We’ll have to keep an eye on Danault.

Update: Danault and Redmond should be good to go tonight. Greg Pateryn took a therapy day, which means Zach Redmond gets his chance:

The good news is that Beaulieu seems to be approaching a return.

It’s worth noting that Lehkonen, Byron, and Shaw were all practicing their faceoffs this morning. In other news, Carey Price will get the start versus the Devils.
We don’t quite know the lines just yet, but we will update the article as soon as we hear from the coach.
