Habs lineup news: Nick Cousins takes Nick Suzuki’s place
Cousins could play his first game of the season on Tuesday.
The Montreal Canadiens held a practice on Monday morning, with most of the alignment staying the same from the win over the St. Louis Blues. The only change was Nick Suzuki coming off the fourth line, with Nick Cousins skating in his place.

Tatar-Danault-Gallagher
Lehkonen-Domi-Weal
Drouin-Kotkaniemi-Armia
Byron-Thompson-Cousins
Suzuki (rotating in at C with Kotkaniemi)
Mete-Weber
Kulak-Petry
Chiarot-Folin
Reilly-Fleury
Suzuki looked more comfortable on Saturday night, playing over 16 minutes in the contest, but Cousins needed to get some game action at some point, and it appears Claude Julien is using the division matchup with the Tampa Bay Lightning for his debut with the team.
The defence will remain intact from the group that helped Montreal get the victory on the weekend. Brett Kulak stays alongside Jeff Petry, while Ben Chiarot and Christian Folin make up the bottom pairing.
