Habs lineup news: Daniel Carr in for Charles Hudon

The Montreal Canadiens announced one lineup change ahead of their game against the Ottawa Senators today.

Yesterday, Hudon practiced with David Desharnais and Chris Terry, so that is likely where Carr will line up.

Hudon had an opportunity starting last game with Tomas Plekanec and Brendan Gallagher but found himself demoted as the game went on against the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Michel Therrien seems to be looking for ways to get his secondary lines scoring, whether it be Tomas Plekanec’s line or David Desharnais. Adding Carr to the mix is the latest in those changes.

Neither Carr or Hudon need waivers to go back to the AHL and with Terry playing quite well since his recall, it seems like the two are battling for an NHL roster spot once Artturi Lehkonen or Brian Flynn return to the fold.

Craig Anderson is expected to start for the Ottawa Senators tonight. Mike Condon will once again watch his former team.
