Habs lines versus the Avalanche: Michael McCarron and Mark Barberio to sit out after recall
The two recent call-ups will serve as extras in tonight’s game at the Bell Centre.
Despite their recall after last night’s game between the St. John’s IceCaps and Springfield Thunderbirds, neither Michael McCarron nor Mark Barberio will be in the lineup when the Montreal Canadiens take on the Colorado Avalanche tonight.

With only 12 other forwards and six defencemen available, that means the lineup will be the same as the one that earned a 5-2 victory over the New Jersey Devils on Thursday. Michel Therrien cited the stellar performances of the club in that game as the reason for not making any changes to the personnel.

No starting goaltender was announced, but with a home game on a Saturday night, you’d probably be safe to write Carey Price’s name in that spot.
