Habs lines at practice: Gallagher to the third line
Feisty forward Brendan Gallagher finds himself on the third line at practice, but it shouldn’t be a major cause for concern
The Montreal Canadiens are holding their Thursday morning skate. Here are updated the lines:

Pacioretty - Plekanec - Radulov
Lehkonen - Danault - Shaw
Byron - Mitchell - Gallagher
Carr-Flynn-McCarron

#Habs practice D & G:

Emelin - Weber
Markov - Petry
Beaulieu - Redmond
Barberio
Price
Montoya
The biggest change to the line-up sees Andrew Shaw and Philip Danault being paired with Artturi Lehkonen, taking over from Torrey Mitchell and Brendan Gallagher who drop to a line with Paul Byron. The change is mainly cosmetic as the two lines are generally used equally, so it shouldn’t be seen as a demotion, but rather a re-alignment.
Recent call-ups from the American Hockey League Sven Andrighetto and Marc Barberio are on the ice with the team, but it looks like they are destined to just be spares in case of injury while Michael McCarron is headed towards his first start of the season with the Canadiens.
