Habs lines at practice: Galchenyuk placed on the left wing, McCarron 4th line centre
Following a loss to the Red Wings, Galchenyuk finds himself on the wing
The two injured players, Nikita Nesterov and Brian Flynn, hit the ice before the main Habs practice.

Andrei Markov, however, was not present during practice. The likely reason being a therapy day.
The forwards saw a massive change, with Alex Galchenyuk slotted as a left winger, and Andrew Shaw taking his spot as a center. Phillip Danault returned to his spot as the #1 centre, between Max Pacioretty and Alex Radulov.
Michael McCarron was practicing as the fourth line centre, in lieu of Steve Ott. Andreas Martinsen replaced Dwight King on the wing.

As for the defensive pairings, without Markov in the fold we saw Nathan Beaulieu practice with Shea Weber, whereas Brandon Davidson was paired with Jordie Benn.
