Pacioretty- Danault - Radulov
Lehkonen - Plekanec - Byron
Andrighetto - Galchenyuk - Shaw
De la Rose - Mitchell - Flynn
As you can see, Galchenyuk practiced alongside Andrighetto and Andrew Shaw. Although this is considered the third line, it’s worth noting that this isn’t the first time Therrien has tried new combinations, and those new combinations don’t always make it to the game. In other words, don’t be surprised if Galchenyuk starts the next game on the first line.
Max Pacioretty was practicing with Phillip Danault and Alex Radulov, whereas Paul Byron was placed with the successful Artturi Lehkonen - Tomas Plekanec duo.
On the defensive side of things we did not see as much change. Zach Redmond and Ryan Johnston alternated on the third pairing, whereas Nathan Beaulieu was back beside Jeff Petry.
