Game Thread One Final Preseason Tuneup For Habs
Next game after this one counts, boys and girls!!!
The Montreal Canadiens, fielding pretty much what we should see on October 6 in Toronto, meet up with the Tampa Bay Lightning to close out their preseason tuneups.
The Habs are 1-6 in preseason. That's relatively unimportant, but ending on a winning note would be a good momentum booster heading into the team's bonding sessions in Blue Mountain.
Alexei Yemelin will sit out tonight's game, with Yannick Weber playing on the fourth line and getting some power-play time.
The Habs are reporting that Travis Moen should be ready for the season opener vs.the Toronto Maple Leafs, but Ryan White is still some time away. Lars Eller skated with the team this morning, but still needs to see his doctor for clearance for contact.
With the game being played in Quebec City at Colisée Pepsi, I wonder what the over/under on those attending in Quebec Nordiques jerseys will be?
