Friday Habs Links: TSN extends their big guns

Montreal Canadiens links:

– Claude Julien chimed in on the Pacioretty/Boychuk incident. He agreed with the 2 minute penalty on the play. As did Gregory Campbell. Upon last check Boychuk did travel with the Bruins after the game, which is a relief since his injury appeared to be quite serious at the time.

– Kerry Fraser opined on the final minutes of the Devils/Habs game. He thought the tying goal shouldn’t have counted. Read his take here.

– Did you miss last night’s game? Laura has you covered.

Lars Eller leads the Habs in hits. This is why.

– Darren Dreger was on the air discussing P.K. Subban’s upcoming contract.

– We lost a great man yesterday, and the Habs, classy as ever, observed a moment of silence for Mandela’s passing.

– Patrik Berglund isn’t the smoothest character around. [via SB NHL]

– James Duthie, Darren Dreger and Bob McKenzie signed extensions to stay with TSN. That should kill all the rumours of any of them jumping ship to Sportsnet.
