Gelinas looked good in certain aspects during his time with the NHL team, with his shot being the most notable. That will be a dangerous weapon on an AHL that was already one of the better man-advantage squads last season, before adding several offensive veterans.
In 172 AHL games, Gelinas has recorded 76 points (26 G, 50 A). He should be expected to score at about that pace this season.
