Daniel Carr reassigned to the IceCaps of the AHL
The versatile winger will join the IceCaps
The Canadiens continue their roster shuffle. First they sent Zach Redmond to the AHL following the trade that brought Nikita Nesterov into the fold. They followed it up by placing Mark Barberio on waivers, due to the return to play of both Andrei Markov and Jeff Petry.
That covered the defencemen, but seeing as they still had an overabundance of players on the roster they reassigned winger Daniel Carr to the IceCaps of the AHL. It’s worth noting that Alex Galchenyuk will play versus the Flyers.

Carr, 25, does not require waivers during his journey to St. John’s. In 31 games with the Habs this year he produced two goals and six assists. He only played three games previously with the IceCaps this season, but he managed to earn two goals and an assist during that time frame.
