Mikko Rantanen and Roope Hintz each registered four points in the second period of Game 6, and that still wasn’t enough for the Dallas Stars to knock the Colorado Avalanche out of the post-season as the 2022 champions claimed a 7-4 win to force Game 7.
Dallas has made it to the Western Conference Final each of the last two seasons, but the Avalanche put in a lot of effort this year to revamp their roster hoping to end a two-year drought finishing among the NHL’s final four. The Stars have won their last two home games, and the host has also taken the win in the last three games of this series. The advantage appears to be with Dallas in this Game 7, but Nathan MacKinnon and Cale Makar will have some things to say about any such predictions.
