Assistant coach Clement Jodoin leaves the Habs
Michel Therrien’s former assistant is leaving the organization
Claude Julien met with his assistant coaches yesterday, and the first domino has fallen. Assistant coach Clement Jodoin has decided to leave the organization, as to pursue opportunities elsewhere.

Whether or not this was a mutual agreement is unknown, but it’s quite common for incoming coaches to hire their own assistants, rather than keeping the ones he inherited.
Jodoin was with the club since 2012, although it wasn’t his first stint with the team. He worked with the Habs from 1997 to 2003 in various capacities: as an assistant coach, a scout, and later director of Player Development.
