With Alexander Radulov still suffering the effects of an illness, the Montreal Canadiens have recalled forward Charles Hudon from the St. John’s IceCaps in the AHL.
Charles Hudon called up to Habs

The dynamic forward currently leads the entire American Hockey League in goals with nine, while sitting just behind Chris Terry for the team in points with fourteen. The call up is one that may be long overdue as Hudon has been among the AHL’s elite scorers since his rookie year, and may be able to fill the offensive void while Radulov is on the shelf temporarily. Where he slots in the line up is anyone’s guess currently, but if his prior NHL call up is any indication he should have no trouble slotting into any spot in Montreal’s current lineup.
Check out a bit of his handiwork from a 4-1 victor over Binghamton this past Tuesday night, where he tallied his ninth goal of the year.
