Jeremy Grégoire: It was an unfortunate end this past week for Gregoire's playoff run with the Baie-Comeau Drakkar as he played what was likely his last CHL game. He scored a goal in his first game, a 4-2 loss to the Val d'Or Foreurs. He led his team's effort in the following game, scoring a goal and two assists in a 4-3 overtime loss to Val d'Or in the seventh game of the series. Baie-Comeau dropped the series after leading three games to none, but it would be exceptionally hard to fault Gregoire here, he scored six goals and six assists in the 7-game series. Gregoire finished the playoffs with 10 goals and 11 assists in 12 games, which ranked him 4th in league playoff scoring through two rounds and the leader on his team by six points.
Michael McCarron: McCarron found himself playing a key role with the Oshawa Generals in the OHL playoffs this past week. He scored a goal in his first game, a 6-1 loss to the North Bay Battalion. He earned an assist on the game-winning goal in the following game, a 1-0 overtime win over North Bay. Oshawa is tied 1-1 in the Eastern Conference Finals versus North Bay. McCarron has seven goals and six assists in 12 playoff games.
Zach Fucale: Fucale seems to have locked down his position as the playoff starter for the Remparts after a shaky start in the first round. He allowed 1 goal on 27 shots in his first game, a 4-1 win over the Moncton Wildcats. He allowed 3 goals on 32 shots in the following game, a 4-3 win over Moncton. The Remparts lead Moncton two games to none in the Semifinal round of the QMJHL playoffs. Fucale's save percentage in the playoffs has grown to a healthy .910, second among active goalies in the playoffs.
