Player of the Week: Gabriel Dumont

Taking top honours for the week, Gabriel Dumont continues to enjoy a late-season offensive surge with the Hamilton Bulldogs as their season winds down. After going without a point in a 3-1 loss to the St. John's IceCaps to begin the week, Dumont would gain a measure of revenge in a rematch that saw him record three assists in an eventual 4-3 shootout victory for Hamilton. He would mark a goal in his next game in what became a 4-3 shootout loss to the Rochester Americans. Dumont's 19 goals this season lead the Hamilton Bulldogs in that category. Gabriel Dumont was drafted in the 5th round, 139th overall by the Montreal Canadiens in the 2009 NHL Draft.
