Carey Price will start pre-tournament game for Canada against the USA

Carey Price is good to go, and he will start on Friday for Canada.

All eyes have been on Carey Price as Canada's World Cup of Hockey training camp, as we wait to see whether he has recovered from last year's injury enough to start for his country. Well, it seems that he is getting closer and closer, as Renaud Lavoie has reported that Price will be starting the pre-tournament game against the US on Friday.

This has been confirmed by Mike Babcock as well, so he is definitely going to go on Friday.

Naturally this will be a big game for Canadian fans to watch, but also for Montreal Canadiens fans. It has been a while since Price has played a competitive game of hockey, so there is a lot riding on how he looks in this one game. If he doesn't do so great, they may elect to give the reins to Braden Holtby.

Of course, they may also want to give Price a bit of a longer leash, since he has been out for so long. In any case, this will be one to watch, because Carey Price will be back between the pipes.
