Carey Price to start tomorrow, Zach Fucale recalled

After Charlie Lindgren hurt himself before the game on Monday against the Toronto Maple Leafs, the Montreal Canadiens have recalled Zach Fucale from Laval Rocket training camp.

The team also announced that Carey Price will start tomorrow night in Quebec City.

Max Pacioretty, Brendan Gallagher, and Shea Weber will also be in uniform when the team takes on the Maple Leafs at the Centre Videotron.

If Jonathan Drouin is healthy enough, he will also play in the game. He has only played one pre-season game so far, as he was a late scratch to yesterday’s lineup with a muscular upper body injury.

It will be Price’s third game of the pre-season, and we should expect that he will play the entire game. The last four pre-season games have seen the Habs starter in net go the distance.

Price played in back-to-back days at the Bell Centre last week, losing to the Washington Capitals, where he played 30 minutes, and the New Jersey Devils where he played the full game.

The Canadiens had a day off of practice today.
