Carey Price will start versus Coyotes
Montreal’s most valuable player will make his season debut
The Montreal Canadiens season has gotten off to a pretty good start, but today may be the most exciting day of the new season as Carey Price will be making his first start of the season tonight.

Price, who was dealing with a severe flu, has been skating all week and met the media yesterday. He will be activated from Injured Reserve and Charlie Lindgren will be sent down to St. John’s of the AHL.
The IceCaps released goaltender Bryan Pitton from his PTO earlier today, foreshadowing both the arrival of Yann Danis and Lindgren.

Al Montoya has done an incredible job in the Habs first three games, but the Canadiens will no doubt be buoyed by the return of Price who has played only one game since backstopping Canada to a championship at the World Cup of Hockey.
This will be Price’s first regular season start for the Canadiens since November 25, 2015 which is 331 days ago.
