Canadiens vs. Senators Pre-Season Game Thread

The Montreal Canadiens and Ottawa Senators square off for a second straight night, this time at the Bell Centre in Montreal.

With the Habs heading off to Halifax to face the Boston Bruins on Sunday, it looks like Jacques Martin is sticking to the bare minimum of eight veteran players for tonight’s game. Those who bough full price tickets for a Saturday game will be thrilled with that.

Carey Price is slotted to play the full game tonight, according to Martin. Peter Budaj will get the call Sunday in Halifax, which is likely what east-coast fans were not hoping for.

Danny Masse he blocked a puck with his hand and left Saturday’s morning skate, but is good to play tonight.. P.K. Subban and David Desharnais did not skate on Saturday morning, and likely will not return to action until Monday. Martin described it as a preventitive measure.

Philippe LeFebvre and Olivier Archambault see their first pre-season game of the camp.
