Canadiens vs Penguins Game Thread

After a highly anticipated return from the Olympic break produced the hockey equivalent of the womp womp sound effect, the Habs are looking for a rebound effort against arguably the top team in the Eastern Conference, a team that didn’t play and travel last night like Montreal did.

The Habs are once again without superstar goaltender Carey Price, who’s sidelined with a groin/leg injury that was apparently aggravated during the Olympics if you listen to Michel Therrien, or wasn’t if you listen to Mike Babcock.

Budaj will get back-to-back starts for the first time since he joined the Habs, and hopefully he gets a chance to finish what he started and fight Marc-Andre Fleury.

Puck drop is at 7:00 PM.
