Canadiens vs. Panthers: Game thread, rosters, lines, and how to watch

The Montreal Canadiens are back home for their third home game of the season, and after a rough road trip in California, they might be happy to once again be at the Bell Centre.

Of course, the alternative is that if things go south tonight against the Florida Panthers, I’m not so sure the home fans will be very forgiving.

The Habs will have a new-look lineup tonight with the recall of Nikita Scherbak and Michael McCarron from the Laval Rocket. They will play on a line beside Alex Galchenyuk.

Brandon Davidson will draw into the lineup in the place of Joe Morrow.

For the Panthers, they claimed Antti Niemi off of waivers today, but he will not be in uniform tonight as they try to survive without their starting goaltender Roberto Luongo. James Reimer will get the start tonight.

Puck drop is at 7:30 PM EDT / 4:30 PM PDT
