Canadiens vs. Panthers game thread, roster, lines, and how to watch

After what coach Michel Therrien described as an “unacceptable” performance from his team in the third period last night, the Habs are right back at it tonight to take on the Panthers.

It’s probably for the best there’s not a lot of time to dwell on what happened last night in the third period. A bad giveaway from Brendan Gallagher, then a penalty by Shea Weber created the opportunities for the Lightning to come back in a game that should have been sealed up by the Habs with a two-goal lead with ten minutes to go in the third period.

Time to move on from that quickly.

Al Montoya will be seeking his first win in five starts.  On the other end of the ice, James Reimer gets the start as the Panthers also played last night, losing 3-2 to the Leafs in Toronto. On a three-game losing skid of their own, the Panthers are 4-4-6 since Gerard Gallant was fired and Tom Rowe took over the coaching duties.
