Canadiens vs. Oilers Game thread, rosters, lines, and how to watch

The Habs look to end their western road trip on a winning note.

Following a rough loss to the Calgary Flames on Thursday night, the Habs look to reclaim the Atlantic Division throne in a matchup against the Edmonton Oilers.

The Oilers are looking to make the playoffs for the first time since 2006, being led by the young phenom Connor McDavid. He currently leads the NHL with 75 points, on pace to score 92.

Former Hab David Desharnais will play against his old team for the first time tonight. He has two points in three games since being traded to Edmonton.

The Oilers most recently lost their last game against the Pittsburgh Penguins, and are sitting in fourth place in the Pacific Division. A win could propel them into third.

Cam Talbot will be in net for the Oilers, sporting a 33-19-0 record, with a 2.39 goals-against average and .919 save percentage.

Meanwhile, the Habs have made various lineup changes prior to today’s matchup. Paul Byron will not be in tonight due to the flu, but Alexander Radulov will return. He practised on a line with Artturi Lehkonen and Alex Galchenyuk Friday afternoon. Carey Price will start versus Edmonton, back after a bout with a viral illness.
