Canadiens vs. Lightning: Game thread, rosters, lines, and how to watch

The Habs and Lightning face off for the second time in eight days.

The Montreal Canadiens have not won a game since a stop in Calgary on December 22. Since that point they’ve played five games, losing the final four on a year-ending road trip before kicking off 2018 in a similar fashion, looking discouraged down the stretch of a 4-1 defeat at the hands of the San Jose Sharks.

The quest for a win doesn’t get any easier for the team, as they welcome the Tampa Bay Lightning to the Bell Centre for the first time this season, with a road loss to the Lightning making up part of their current slide.

The Habs will be making a few lineup chages for tonight’s contest. The rotation of players will continue as Daniel Carr will be watching from above, with Jacob de la Rose slotting back in for the first time since December 7, centring the fourth line with Nicolas Deslauriers and Andrew Shaw on his wings.

Puck drop is at 7:30 PM EST / 4:30 PM PST
