Canadiens vs. Hurricanes: Game thread, rosters, lines, and how to watch
The Habs look to win consecutive games at home.
The Montreal Canadiens are searching for a third win in four games tonight when they host the Carolina Hurricanes. It will be the final match before the All-Star break, and the last game at home until their Super Bowl matinee weekend on February 3 and 4.
Carey Price gets the start in net after carrying a shutout into the third period of the previous game versus the Colorado Avalanche. He has a chance to climb up the all-time wins leaderboard before heading to Tampa Bay to participate in the All-Star festivities.
Carey Price starts tonight for the 24th time in the #Habs' last 26 games. He can pass Tiny Thompson for 40th in all-time wins by a goalie (285- would also be 4 off Patrick Roy for 2nd most w/MTL)

Paul Byron has a personal five-game points streak to try to maintain, performing very well in his new role of centreman.
For the Canadiens to get the win, they will have to handle what has been a very effective power play for the Hurricanes of late. The good news is that the Habs’ penalty kill has been substantially better than it was to end the month of December, so that should be a good special teams battle to watch for tonight.
Puck drop is at 7:30 PM EST / 4:30 PM PST
