Canadiens vs. Hurricanes: Game thread, rosters, lines, and how to watch

The Habs look to beat the Canes after an 11-goal contest the last time the two teams faced off.

The Montreal Canadiens are back at it tonight against the Carolina Hurricanes after having yesterday off. This is their second game of a two-game road trip that started off with a 3-1 loss.

Paul Byron is expected to play tonight after leaving Tuesday’s game following a hit from Colton Parayko. Daniel Carr returns to the lineup as does Jordie Benn, while Logan Shaw and David Schlemko will be scratched.

The Habs will be facing Cam Ward in net tonight and are countering with Carey Price. With a few lineup tweaks, the Habs are hoping that they not only play the same way they did against the St. Louis Blues in the first period, but cash in on their chances and get the win.

Puck drop is at 7:00 PM EST / 4:00 PM PST
