On Monday night, the first of six pre-season games will see the Montreal Canadiens host the Philadelphia Flyers at the Bell Centre. Puck drop is 7:00 p.m.

The Canadiens had morning skate where it made clear that we will see the pre-season debut of Patrik Laine, Kirby Dach, and Alex Newhook. There will also be a large group of young players including Lane Hutson, Logan Mailloux, and Adam Engström.

Also up front will be the line of Emil Heineman, Oliver Kapanen, and Alex Barre-Boulet, who impressed in the first scrimmage, and Joshua Roy, Christian Dvorak, and Josh Anderson.

The fourth line will see Luke Tuch, Lucas Condotta, and Jared Davidson.

Hutson will be paired with David Savard, Arber Xhekaj with Justin Barron, and Adam Engström will play with Mailloux.

The goaltenders will be Cayden Primeau and Jakub Dobeš.

The Flyers will not have Matvei Michkov play in Montreal after he played in the team’s win against Washington on Sunday. The Flyers will have multiple familiar faces in the lineup, including former Canadiens Ryan Poehling, Louie Belpedio, Anthony Richard, and Nicolas Deslauriers.
