Canadiens vs. Blues Game thread, rosters, lines and how to watch

The Habs escaped California with just two points, but find themselves poised to end their road trip with a winning record. Now 2-2-0 on this road trip, the Canadiens are in St. Louis with the task of overcoming one the NHL’s best teams, and they’ll have to do so without Alex Galchenyuk who is out indefinitely after injuring his knee in Sunday’s win over the Kings.

While how long Galchenyuk will be out remains a mystery, who will be replacing him on the top line tonight is also somewhat shrouded in secrecy. Some reports suggest that David Desharnais will start between Max Pacioretty and Alex Radulov. Desharnais had two assists in Sunday’s game, including the game-tying goal early in the third period. Michel Therrien is keeping this information to himself until close to puck-drop.

Carey Price will get the night off after starting the last seven in a row for the Habs. Price was 4-3-0 with a .926 save percentage and 2.14 goals against average in those seven starts. Al Montoya gets the net for his first start since November 18 in a 3-2 loss in Carolina.

Puck Drop is 8:00 PM EST / 11:00 PM PST
