Game 42: Montreal Canadiens vs. Dallas Stars
Start time: 7:00 PM EST / 4:00 PM PST
In Canada: CityTV, Sportsnet (English), TVA Sports (French)
In the Stars region: Victory+
Streaming: ESPN+, Sportsnet+
It turns out Patrik Laine still isn’t able to go for the Canadiens, meaning the forward corps will be the same as it was last night in Washington. However, David Savard is ready to play following his recovery from a minor injury, and that should help to balance the blue-line deployment that was heavily skewed to the top two pairings last night.
The Habs are feeling confident in their game, as are the Stars after winning six in a row, and losing just 14 games all season long. As it always is lately, it’s a difficult matchup for Montreal, but the team is thriving with that pressure over the past month or so, and there’s no reason to believe they’re going to let up now, especially in front of their home fans on Saturday night.
