Not wanting to mess with a winning lines, as is the case for most coaches, Martin St-Louis wrote down the same lineup for tonight’s homestand finale as he did in Monday’s win over the Anaheim Ducks. It wasn’t the most efficient way to claim two points three days ago, but the group managed to get the job done. Versus a suddenly hot Pittsburgh Penguins team, they can’t afford to look as disjointed as they did in the last game.

Samuel Montembeault gets the start once again. At this point, it seems like he will be getting every game outside of one of the contests in a back-to-back. His level of play is making that an easy decision, and it’s fair to say that he was one of the main reasons why the Habs got at least the second point on Monday.

The Penguins have become a more dangerous offensive team in recent weeks. Even though the Canadiens are generally playing better hockey than they were the first two times these teams met, they will need to work hard to avoid the sweep.
