As has been the case for many of the teams this pre-season, the NHL regulars have stayed at home for the road games, meaning the Montreal Canadiens’ lineup in Toronto will feature a large number of prospects.

The most promising two of this training camp so far are involved, with Lane Hutson once again back in the formation on a top pairing with Justin Barron. Oliver Kapanen will play centre between Joshua Roy and Joel Armia to show what he can do with a couple of more established players on the NHL roster.

The Maple Leafs will be missing Auston Matthews who’s dealing with an injury, but otherwise the lineup will look rather similar to what Toronto will run when these two teams start the season in two weeks’ time. That should be a great test for all the Habs players who made the trip to Scotiabank Arena.
