Canadiens lineup vs Capitals: Price, Drouin, Hudon set for pre-season debuts

The Montreal Canadiens lineup that will make their Bell Centre pre-season debut tonight is not short on star power – or story lines.

Jonathan Drouin, a day after making a significant donation to Montreal hospitals, will make his official pre-season Bell Centre debut alongside Max Pacioretty and Ales Hemsky.

The Habs lineup will also feature Charles Hudon, who will try to build on the momentum that he started in the team’s annual scrimmage with line-mates Tomas Plekanec and Artturi Lehkonen.

Shea Weber will also make his debut alongside Victor Mete, the camp’s biggest long-shot who is put in one of its best positions.

Jakub Jerabek and Peter Holland will make their pre-season debuts with the Canadiens, while Mark Streit will make his return.

Carey Price will split time with Charlie Lindgren in the Canadiens net.

After facing a Boston Bruins team that didn’t feature any star players, this Canadiens team will face off against a Capitals team that will have Alex Ovechkin, and Evgeny Kuznetsov. Former Hab Devante Smith-Pelly is also expected to be in the lineup.
