Habs lines vs. the Blackhawks: Hemsky in for de la Rose

As the Montreal Canadiens are looking to score some goals, Claude Julien has made minimal changes to his lineup that was unable to beat Henrik Lundqvist legally on Sunday and have four goals to show for their three games this season.

Alex Hemsky will draw into the lineup against the Chicago Blackhawks tonight. Chicago had leads of 2-0 and 3-1 before falling to the Toronto Maple Leafs 4-3 in overtime last night.

For a team looking for goals, the move makes sense. Hemsky will take Jacob de la Rose’s spot in the lineup.

On defence, there were no changes so Brandon Davidson plays his second straight game.

Unsurprisingly, Carey Price will get the start in the Habs home opener. It will be his fourth straight start. After tonight, the Canadiens do not play until Saturday when the Leafs head into the Bell Centre, and we should expect Price to start that game as well.
