Canadiens lines from practice: Tomas Tatar leaves early, Jonathan Drouin promoted
The forward left practice after a shot to the leg.
Montreal Canadiens forward Tomas Tatar left practice early after taking a Shea Weber shot to the leg.
My pal @raphdoucet said he took a hit from Shea Weber in a one-on-one drill. Don't know if that's the cause, but he's no longer on the ice.

Tatar had been skating with Phillip Danault and Brendan Gallagher, as he has played for most of the season. There were some other changes from Tuesday’s lineup. Jonathan Drouin was promoted to a line with Max Domi and Nick Suzuki. Suzuki took Tatar’s spot after he left practice.
Artturi Lehkonen and Paul Byron skated with Jesperi Kotkaniemi, and Nate Thompson had Jordan Weal and Nick Cousins for linemates. Joel Armia skated and rotated in with the Domi line.
Trios du #CH ce matin. Il y a quatre joueurs sur le trio de Domi.

On defence, Cale Fleury remained with Ben Chiarot, a good indicator that the rookie will remain in the lineup on Thursday when the Canadiens host the San Jose Sharks. They also play the Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday before heading out on a short West Coast road trip.
If Tatar and Armia are not able to play on Thursday, expect a call up from the Laval Rocket who play on Wednesday night.
