Game 38: Montreal Canadiens @ Chicago Blackhawks
Start time: **8:00 PM EST / 5:00 PM PST**
In Canada: TSN2 (English), RDS (French)
In the Blackhawks region: CHSN
Streaming: ESPN+, RDS, TSN+
After a couple of days off, the Canadiens face another back-to-back. That was a scary proposition a season ago. In 2024-25, it’s just a chance for Montreal to rack up points in a short amount of time. They are 8-1-1 in the games played in five back-to-back sets, recently sweeping the Florida Panthers and Tampa Bay Lightning to start this current road trip.
Tonight’s opponent isn’t of the quality of the other teams the Habs face on this excursion, but the Chicago Blackhawks are still capable of beating NHL teams, even if they have only done so 12 times this season and not at all in their last five contests. They’re trying to shake things up by introducing prospects to the lineup, tonight hoping that Colton Dach can spark them to a win versus a fellow Original Six team.
