The Canadiens played a solid period, weathering some early penalties to take the shot advantage for the period at 12-11. Carey Price continued his excellent work from Game Two, finding a way to turn aside some good opportunities for the Sens. The goal he did allow was not of the same soft variety that hit the net in Game One.
The Canadiens have played excellent second periods in both games, scoring five goals combined to take the lead each time. The Canadiens will look to do the same here.
