The Canadiens came out flying against the Panthers in the first and it took less than two minutes for the continually lucky David Desharnais to pop a goal past Jacob Markstrom.
Then on the powerplay Michael Ryder scored his 100th goal as a Montreal Canadien on a tipped shot by P.K. Subban, who continues to be absolutely lethal on the PP.
Then after Ryan White showed some amazing discipline in drawing a double minor by Nolan Yonkman, the Canadiens decided to start the second period a little early and didn’t even try to score.
Hopefully they wake up and don’t let the Panthers back in it.
