I really don’t even know what to say anymore about Francis Bouillon. His reward for singlehandedly causing the first goal against was to get extra shifts with P.K. Subban, and after sitting around and watching another goal go in instead actually doing his job, he was right back out on the next shift,

Bouillon has more icetime tonight than Raphael Diaz, who’s actually been extremely efficient.

The excellent work done by the line of Alex Galchenyuk, Lars Eller, and Rene Bourque to tie the game was undone by stupid plays. Bouillon’s was already mentioned, the other belongs to Tomas Plekanec, who iced the puck a foot before center ice instead of doing anything else with it at the end of a long shift.

A timeout by Michel Therrien produced no fruit, as the Canadiens surrendered a metric tonne of shots on the following shift.

With elimination on the line for the Jets, the whistles have been swallowed.
