Carey Price was the saviour for the first period, stopping 14 shots and who knows how many scoring chances. Multiple highlight reel saves on shots created by the Canucks‘ cycle game kept Vancouver stymied.
After drawing a penalty with a couple scintillating moves, Max Pacioretty then capitalized on it with a goal set up by Francis Bouillon and Raphael Diaz. No seriously.
Even though they came out of it with the lead, I’m hoping for a better period from the Habs in the second.
