Winter Olympics 2014 Men’s Hockey: Canada vs Finland live stream, TV schedule, rosters, and more

The top teams of Group B are in action Sunday afternoon, as Canada wraps up it’s preliminary play with a match up versus the plucky Finns.

Both teams are undefeated, with Canada building on their 3-1 victory versus Norway to easily defeat Austria by a score of 6-0.

Finland managed a better result versus Norway (6-1), and won a high scoring affair versus Austria by the score of 8-4. As it stands Finland sits a top of Group B, based on goal differential. Both they and Canada have 6 points, however Finland is +9 in goals for/against, whereas Canada is +8.

There are major seeding implications at play, as well as few interesting roster choices.

Did Carey Price earn the start based on his superior NHL season? One would think so, as Luongo pitched a shutout in his start versus Austria.

Both players who sat versus Austria will slot in the lineup, meaning that P.K. Subban and Martin St.Louis will make way for Patrick Sharp and Dan Hamhuis. How deep is Canada? Deep enough to leave the reigning Norris and Art Ross winners in the press box, apparently.

Unfortunately young star Aleksander Barkov will miss the remainder of the Olympics due to a lower-body injury, however the ageless Teemu Selanne is expected to play versus Canada.

Tuukka Rask will get the start for Finland, even though he struggled in their game versus Austria, whereas Lehtonen was quite good in the win versus Norway.

Puck drop is at 12:00pm EST, and you can stream it live here. It is also available in French. It will be on TV in Canada on CBC, on the USA network in the United States.
