Finland vs. Canada

In the United States: NHL Network
Live stream: TSN+, RDS Direct
Defending champion Canada takes on a Finnish team that fell just shot of a medal in overtime of the Bronze Medal Game last year. Both teams come into this year’s event with less competitive rosters than they had 12 months ago, but are still intent of coming away with some hardware.
Draft-eligible prospects are among the top players on both clubs. Macklin Celebrini is projected to go first overall in the 2024 NHL Draft, but players on the opposing team believe Konsta Helenius has what it takes to earn that spot instead. That will be the main head-to-head battle to pay attention to in the opening game of the tournament for both of these decorated nations.
