It’s something that readers have requested. It’s something that I’ve wanted to do for a really long time. It’s something we’re going to do this season.
Over the next couple of weeks, we’re going to nail down a date on the first ever Eyes on the Prize meetup. This is in the very first stages of planning, so I’m going to need your help. We want to accommodate as many of you as possible, so we’re going to start with picking a date.
If there is enough interest, we can even do a two night get-together, as the Habs have many back-to-back sets on weekends.
What do you think of this idea, Ryan?

Here are my thoughts for what we can do (planning for just a Saturday right now), but please feel free to add your own:
- Meet up at a pub yet to be chosen and perhaps partake in some food and drink around the lunch hour.
- A charity road hockey game.
- Dinner at a restaurant yet to be chosen.
- Back to the pub to take in the game and drinks together. Because this is short notice, it’s unlikely that we can manage to get tickets to a game, but if it’s possible and there is interest, we’ll go for it./
Now we need to find a date. Normally I would create a poll, but you may be available for multiple weekends, so what I’ll ask you to do is click this link, and write in the comments which dates you are able and willing to attend. For anyone traveling from out of town, please note that in your comment as you will be given special priority.
Obviously the earliest we can do this is November, but I’m guessing that it will likely be in the new year. Can’t wait to meet you all.
