If it had been a great game, a good game even, I’d have stayed up to watch. As it was a west coast game, and the real job calls at 5 a.m., well, the sane choice was to get some sleep. Had I started on what will be, soon enough, a highly animated rant, I would have been in for a white night.
It’s 5-1 Vancouver as I type this, and moments of hope that began the second period have quickly evaporated.
My only hope for this game is that no Habs get hurt this game.
Fat chance, they’d have had to show up first!
