After sitting out the entire second round, the Montreal Canadiens made their first pick of Day 2 of the NHL Draft at 70th overall. With that pick that selected the son of famous Habs captain Saku Koivu, Aatos Koivu
Last season saw Koivu spend most of his time with the U20 squad at TPS-Turku, but his play also earned him a brief four-game stint with the big club in Liiga.
The Canadiens will be back on the clock at 78th overall in the third round.
