It’s been 90 days since the Canadiens last played a hockey game; 54 days since the Chicago Blackhawks hoisted the Stanley Cup. As the game-thread writer here, I end up watching a lot of hockey. When the season ended, I tried to fill the hockey void with trivial things like beautiful summer weather, bar patios and drinking beer, and spending time with my family. None of it could fill the void of the off-season.
