Perhaps the starkest contrast between the two teams tonight is discipline. Ryan White has taken two penalties, but both were kinda bullshit. Washington on the other hand, started the second with Alex Ovechkin taking a bonehead penalty, which resulted in Andrei Markov once again taking over the game.
Markov has 3 goals and 1 assist in 2 games and 2 periods. Raphael Diaz has 5 assists over that span, leading all NHL defensemen. Seriously.
Francis Bouillon's "goal" will be credited to Josh Gorges eventually since Bouillon wasn't the one who shot it.
Great friggin period. Carey Price is a BAMF.
