Another year, another disaapointing medal-round performance for Sweden, and it’s going to be difficult for them to get engaged to only fight for bronze. The Czechs, who fought well with Team USA last night, probably aren’t feeling as gloomy to once again finish among the top four on the global stage, and they probably have the better team for this matchup anyway. The Czechs should be favoured to win bronze for a second consecutive year.

Gold Medal Game: United States vs. Finland

How to watch

Given how outclassed Finland looked in their opener versus Canada, it’s been an incredible rise in their form over the past 11 days. They’re now scoring plenty of goals to go along with their stalwart defence, and are going to provide a real test for an American team trying to go back-to-back. After winning three golds in the span of six years from 2014 to 2019, Finland has a chance to add another World Junior Championship today.
